AKINWUNMI AMBODE KICKS OUT TWO LOYALISTS OF EX GOVERNOR BABATUNDE FASHOLA FROM ALAUSA. AS TALKS OF BRF, AMBODE FALLING APART HITS TOWN

Jitters and panic would be best to describe the situation at Lagos seat of power at the moment as new Lagos Governor Akinwunmi Ambode have started wielding the big stick by uprooting men loyal to his predecessor Babatunde Fashola from their position. Presently the new Governor is said to have sacked two loyalists of Fashola the day he assumed the leadership of Lagos

Information revealed affected individuals as Gbenga Akintola and Adenike Adekanmbi, orders were also given for an immediate audit of their books. Both of them were head of agencies appointed by former governor Fashola. While Akintola head the Lagos State Publics Works Corporation Adeknambi called the shots at the Office of Facility Management and Maintaince.

What is shocking to most people is that since the order was given no official reason was expressed for this development, we gathered they were simply told to handover to the person nearest in rank to them and an immediate audit of their books ordered. A development which has sent shock waves down the spines of other loyalists of Fashola. We also gathered that more sacking would be effected in the days to come

However talks of falling apart between the new governor Akin Ambode and his predecessor Fashola have being gaining ground since last week, talks about town has it that APC leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu have also falling apart with the former governor hence the move to uproot men loyal to him in Alausa and to do that Governor Ambode have to swing into action by working on the script handed down to him before being sworn in. Part of the sin of BRF according to inside source is that he never supported Ambode governorship, source also revealed on the day of the party primaries Fashola deliberately cast his vote for Supo Shasore, he didn't also vote for Buhari during the party Presidential primaries. That was why his nomination for Ministerial appointment at the federal level is being kick against by powers that be in the party.
