IFAKO-IJAIYE POST MAGAZINE STAGES FIRST HALL OF FAME AWARDS

The board and management of Ifako-Ijaye Post newspaper in conjunction with Bel'tainment Print and Irede Entertainment is set to organise it’s first hall of fame awards. The ceremony tagged “Ifako-Ijaye Hall of Fame Award and Award of Excellence“ recognises eminent personalities and corporate bodies for their contribution to the development of both Ifako-Ijaye and Ojokoro LCDA. The event which is coming up on Saturday September 19, 2015 is expected to hold at Sonmori Hall, Iju Station, Lagos.

Among the awardees are Prince Babs Ogunleye, CEO Dynamic Petroleum Nigeria Limited, who is also chairman of the occasion, Chief Micheal Oguntona, former Chairman OF Lagos State Civil Service, Mr. Duro Kuteyi, the chairman of Spectra Nigeria Limited, Pastor Olu Alonge, Comrade Peter Arowojobe, Lagos StateExecutive member of NURTW, Mr. Adeniji Famoriyo, MD Savoury eatery centre, Mr. Jacob Adeniji, Propietor, Highlang Group of Schools,  Mr. Remi Awode, Chairman of Chemstar Nigera Limited, Makers of Fine Coats, the propietor of Barachel Group of Schools, Mallam Moye Jaji, Executive Secretary of Ojodu LCDA, who is being recognised for his service to humanities, the former chairman of both Ifako-Ijaye and Ojokoro LCDA, Hon. Ahmed Omisore, former Lagos State House of Assembly member, Hon. Dayo Saka- Fafunmi, Alhaji Akibu Adeniji, Hon. Elijah Adewale, member House of Representayives of Ifako-Ijaye federal constituency, Alhaji Akindele Lasisi, former CDC Chairman Ojokoro, Chief Omowowo,Hon. Morufu Adefolabi, former member of House of Representatives, Mr. Martins Olanigan, Hon. Olaniyi David, Hon. Fausat Hassan-Olajokun, Chief Mrs Felicia Awoniyi and Prince Ademola Adunola, Propietor of Dansaky Hotels. 

Other awardees are Bobo food and Beverages, Solpia Nigeria Limited, makers of X-pression, Alhaji Yinus Lasisi, former chairman of Ifako-Ijaye Muslim Community, Reverend S Oladele, former chairman of Christian Association of NIgeria, Comrade Rotimi Adeleye, Executive Secretary Ifako-Ijaye LGC, Mr. Babatunde Pedro, Alhaji Niyi Otunuyi, High Chief Clentus Onye, Hon . Benjamin Olabinjo and Chief S Lawal. There will also be Post Humous Award for Late Chief BB Majekodunmi, Late Barrister Kunle Fadipe, Alhaji Olaitan Mustafa, Alhaji Alabi Hassan -Olajoku and Miss Seun.

Special Guests at the occasion are Senator Solomon Adeola, Senator Jide Omoworare and Mrs Ambode, Mrs. Iyabo Obasa, Hon. Makinde, Hon. Muyiwa Olabintan, Mr. Segun Adegbesan, Prince Ayo Ayelade and Flight Captain Ayo Makinde and others.
