About 8 light paintings will be on
display on the evening of September 6,
2015, 5pm at Nike Art Gallery, 2 Elegushi road, 3rd Roundabout
by legacy place, Lekki Phase one, lekki/epe expressway, Victoria Island,
Lagos-Nigeria. All works showing are paintings revealing
and at the same time consolidating the widely publicized series of exhibition
of works of art enthusiast, Emmanuel Eni widely known as Blackman in European
kitchen
The event tagged “Who no know go know”
evening is coined from - Art Merchant- which debut in February at Onikan
National museum and at Yusuf Grillo Gallery Yaba College of Technology, also at Dosier Gallery, Berlin all
this year.
The new works have more and deeper
contours after studying the Nigeria colors and attitude. Never forgetting to
promote the growth of Art in Nigeria as A vital aspect of Africa’s development.
The public will have a chance to reflect anew the effects of the newly
discovered style of paintings.
According Emmanuel Ani, “In trying to
promote the growth of Art industry, I decided to ignore the disrespectful
comment from Bogobiri, who spoke disdainfully of the movers and shakers of
African Art especially the disrespectful way the Bogobiri proprietor spoke
about Africa’s Number One Art Collector Prince Yemisi Shyllon, who instead should
be greatly acknowledged because of his colossal Deeds in African art landscape.
The Eight new light paintings
from Blackman in European Kitchen bears titles like ”Ngozi”,
“Adama”, “Possibility of Flesh”, “Doreen”, “Reader”, “Bride” ,”African
