CLAM'S PASTOR, WOLE OLADIYUN DECLARES ONE MONTH DELIVERANCE FOR TROUBLED REGGAE STAR MAJEK FASHEK

Pastor Wole Oladiyun of the Christ Living Apostolic Ministries (CLAM), has rose to rescue the continued dwindling state of Reggae star Majek Fashek, he has asked that the troubled musician be brought to him for deliverance.

According to the pastor, there is nothing impossible for God to do and the ‘rain maker’ can still rise again. Oladiyun made the announcement during the first service of the church yesterday. For a long time now Majek has been roaming round the streets of Lagos battling with drugs and alcohol.

After a long while his former wife Rita Fashek, resurfaced on a compassionate level to bail out the musician from drug and alcohol addiction. Rita said she divorced him three months ago and has remarried after waiting for years for him to come out of his state. Rita shared her story saying she decided to remarry after she waited for years for Majek to come out of addiction. “I have remarried and I am moving on with my life. I am tired of waiting for Majek. I have been living for years, alone, lonely and with my children, waiting for him to come home. I waited all these years; his brothers never cared. No member of his family reached out to me. I am not getting any younger. I decided to move on. Majek abandoned the children and me for so long, too long. I am no longer Majek’s wife. I love him. But I am not in love with him. Majek is a wonderful man. I am worried and concerned about his life these times. He had been on this drug dependency for over 15 years. We have three children; Randy is 30, Seun is 24 and our last boy is 12. My children were denied affection of a father by his illness and addiction. I have been the sole provider and single mother of our household in the past 15 years since he chose this lifestyle and walked away from us. I don’t know what went wrong with Majek. I may never know. He is deep into substance abuse."

Rita said she started to notice Majek's dependence on drugs after the birth of their second child, he would go out and returned behaving funny and erratic. She said Majek sold his musical instrument for drugs and alcohol. But despite Majek's drug and alcohol addiction, his wife maintained he is a very kind and loving person, "he was a great husband and lover, he cared for the children and I, he took care of me like a superstar..., he was the best husband any woman could ever dream of. His alcoholism and drug addiction denied us his love
