TOKE MAKINWA'S TROUBLED MARRIAGE BECOMES SUBJECT OF RIDICULE ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Since the news broke yesterday that the marriage of media personality Toke Makinwa is heading for the rocks, comments of scorn and ridicule have trailed the development on social media. Her husband, Maje Ayida is reported to have impregnated another lady outside the confines of their marital vows. It was reported that Maje has impregnated his long time Calabar based former girlfriend named Anita Solomon.

The story actually goes that Toke Makinwa who got married to Maje Ayida in January 2014 after a courtship that lasted 12 years has gotten another lady pregnant. Anita Solomon was also said to have dated Maje for 8 years, but Maje left her to marry Toke Makinwa. Anita is believed to be Half Lebanese, half Calabar, a lawyer and runs a beauty salon in Calabar. The story further revealed that Anita is in UK now where she is taking care of the pregnancy.

Many people have however blamed Toke for the crash in her marriage saying she was never a stay at home wife and that was what made her husband find succour in another woman, while some said a man who is a cheat will always be one. Some even said she got what she bargained for as she actually married another woman's husband. "Simple arithmetic. The ex is the original wife. Toke is the Socialmedia wife. Let them go on." One of the comments copied on the social media stated.

"One can deduce that Anita has had series of abortion for Maje but decided to keep this one just to prove a point that he is hers. Like someone said, she has the heart while the other has the ring.
