The spokesman for the former President Goodluck Jonathan's family have debunked the news making the rounds that one of his children Ariwera has died in a London hospital today. According to a terse statement made available on the social media, the the family want the public to note that "there is no Iota of truth in the report that suggests that President Goodluck Jonathan (our African Hero of Democracy) lost his son to a brief illness as falsely alluded by Omojuwa.com and Kayode Ogundamisi. The President's son is hale and hearty as confirmed via a reliable source who spoke with him earlier today. However earlier today news was all around that Bayelsa State indigenes and residents are wore a mournful look following the rumoured death of Ariwera Jonathan, the son of the immediate past President of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, at a London hospital on Monday, June 22, 2015.
The report also claim that no member of the ex-president’s family in Otuoke, Bayelsa State, could confirm the development and that Jonathan has not been seen around for sometime. It also included that Ariwera was said to have been sick for a while.
