Late Night Club owner, Akeem Shodeinde was buried at the Ikoyi Cemetary today amidst tears and wailing from friends family and admirers. A day before however friends and well wishers of Akeem Sodeinde gathered for a candlelight procession in honour of the late ‘General’ of night clubbing.
From 7 p.m, the candlelight procession moved from Muri Okunola Park to Movida nite club at 18, Idowu Taylor (both on Victoria Island, Lagos).
The funeral proper kicked off with an open air Funeral Service at Havilah Events Center Oniru Victoria Island Lagos. His body was later moved in a motorcade after a brief lying in state to his final resting place - Ikoyi Cemetary Ikoyi Lagos. The late King of nite clubbing passed on in the afternoon of Sunday, May 10, 2015, at his Oniru Estate (Lagos) home following complications from diabetes and kidney ailment.
