AFTER FAILED POLITICAL ADVENTURE, ACTRESS BUKKY WRIGHT RESURFACES, ACCUSED OF WRECKING OGUN POLITICIAN'S MARRIAGE

After her failed political adventure, actress Bukky Wright resurfaced from her anonymous cocoon, but her come back is at the moment enmeshed in a fresh hoolabaloo. She is said to have wrecked a top Ogun politician's marriage.

The politician at the center of the brouhaha is identified as Olawale Okunniyi, the spokesman of Pro-National Conference Organization (PRONACO) as well as the National Secretary of PROJECT NIGERIA (Nigeria Consensus Group) and the former aspirant of the gubernatorial election in Ogun State. He is alleged to have dated the Saworo Ide actress, a development which resulted in the collapse of his marriage after his wife confronted him over the tale.

Talks about town has it that Okunniyi was the one who lured the actress to join the Olusegun Osoba led Social Democratic Party prior to the 2015 general elections. And along the line they became an item and had a secret affair. However, during the party’s primary elections the actress lost to Joseph Sopade, a former aide of Governor Ibikunle Amosun, who resigned to join the Social Democratic Party, SDP. Ms. Wright and Mr. Sopade vied for SDP ticket for the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency of Ogun State, which Sopade later lost to APC’s Hon. Samuel Olusegun Williams.

Inside sources revealed that their romance lasted when Bukky Wright dumped Okunniyi and opted for the party leader, Chief Olusegun Osoba. When the news of the romance became a major topic in the political and social scene, Okunniyi’s wife confronted her husband for explanation but the Ijebu born politician had no tangible excuse to cover up for his extra-marital affair.

However the screen goddess who has been on the defensive of her affair with Osoba has been throwing tantrums to Okunniyi, describing him as a ‘Facebook Politician’ who only hold rally and other political activities on the social media.

Okunniyi was the Governorship Candidate of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change, CPC in Ogun State in the 2011 elections, he later rejoined the All Progressive Congress, APC from the Social Democratic Party, SDP few days to the election when the party bigwigs unanimously handed the gubernatorial ticket to former Managing Director of Promoserve, Senator Akin Odunsi.
