OSHODI GANG LEADER, ESI OLUWO, ALLEGEDLY MURDERED BY MC OLUOMO'S MEN BURIED INSIDE HIS UNCOMPLETED MANSION IN OTA. PORTRAITS OF THE FAMILY HE LEFT BEHIND

Late Eniola Olayemi

Oshodi rival gang leader Olayemi Eniola widely known as Esi Oluwo allegedly beaten to death by persons believed to be men of NURTW leader Musiliu Akinsanya MC Oluomo have being buried.

Esi was committed to mother earth in the afternoon of Wednesday April 22, 2015 at a location in Itele, Ota Ogun state. A source revealed he was buried inside the house he was building before his death, the house we gathered is yet to be fully completed. A day before the burial admirers of the man popularly called Baba Esi staged a candle light procession for him in Oshodi. The late Esi in his 40's left behind a wife Toyin and three children (Michael, Oyindamola and Abidemi).

Recall Esi Oluwo who just decamped to the All Progressives Congress was allegedly beaten to death by MC Oluomo and his men. Esi's personal assistant known as IK Akinrogun who witnessed the scenario narrated thus: "We were on the APC rally for Ambode for governor and Ogundipe who contested for Lagos House of Assembly. My boss Esi recently decamped to the party APC, it was even Hon Bolaji Ariyo who congratulated him for joining the winning party. We were in a long convoy when we heard that MC Oluomo had come around with some mercenaries from Mushin, Akeem, Olori Esho, Aloma, IK. Shortly after we were told one of the mercenaries, Akeem have attacked Talo at the back. We all rushed to the scene for intervention, upon getting to the scene we saw Oluomo, Kokozaria and before long we started hearing sounds of guns, Esi Oluwo have being shot.

"Esi Oluwo have always being a threat to Oluomo when he came back from the UK since 2011, especially when he left PDP to join APC, Oluomo have always nursed the fear that Esi may take over as leader in Oshodi, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu have at many times tried to reconcile Oluomo and Esi Oluwo, the last attempt been the one held at Bourdillon but all that didn't yield any result."

"At the scene of incident, Esi Oluwo ran for his dear life, he was the prime target, he ran through the street but he fell into a culvert where they swooped on him, we stood at a distance and watched helplessly as Oluomo men beat Esi with deadly weapons, they left the scene when Esi could not respond to the beating again. He was taken to Ajao Estate hospital we were told to take him to Isolo General Hospital where he was certified dead. We took his body in protest to Oshodi Local Government Council, but we were pacified to take him to the morgue. The annoying part of it is that those police men that said they were looking for him are now his bodyguard, so where is justice"?
