She went on to host her own television chat show on NTA and Silverbird TV, was a prolific writer of articles on a various topics of the day and had regular columns in magazines and newspapers such as City People. She also appeared on Channels TV and on radio shows. She worked with Ben Murray-Bruce on Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria beauty contests for several years and organised the same in Ghana. She also organised and hosted fashion shows in Accra and was the first to include designers from Europe and other parts of Africa. These were no mean feats given the difficult airline connections, but her power of persuasion and sheer energy made it possible.
She was always full of energy and made the time to serve on the Board of Atlantic Hall School. She was also involved with Sickle Cell Club of Nigeria and Little Saints Orphanage. She was a tireless organiser for good causes. She was married to Magnus De Souza and had four children to whom she was thoroughly devoted. She is to be buried in her ancestral home town of Takoradi, Ghana in June with a Memorial Service in Lagos.
