Female gospel singer, Esther Igbekele, has finally commented about her collapsed marriage to her former husband who is a popular Alhaji in Lagos.
In a recent interview, the gospel vocalist said the marriage has become a thing of the past and she has moved on with life, insisting that her past has been dumped into the trash can of history.
"There are lots of mistake in the beginning but i thank God, who still kept me this far. That is now a past tense, I’m going on with my new life and today I’m married to my own man, the God ordained man for me."
She further revealed that her musical career was nearly truncated because of her early marriage which turned out to be a 'mistake'. "This is a long story but I still thank God for where I am today. Honestly my major problem was my early marriage. Early marriage nearly marred my career."
