
The men identified as Abdulkareem Mohammed, a 36-year-old herbalist Akeem Makinde-Ewuosi and a 29-year-old guard Paul Eke are presently in police custody telling of what they know about the plot.
They have even been charged to court for the criminal offence, according to the prosecutor, Chidi Okoye, the three men tried to murder the victim with the same poisonous substance which they used to poison Simba, the pastor’s dog sometime between January 28 and February 10, 2015, Ikoyi, Lagos.
One of the defendants allegedly had sexual fantasies towards Mrs Ighodalo. After killing the dog he planned to kill her husband, hoping that the love and affection she has for her husband and the dog will be transferred to him.
