TONYE PRINCEWILL DROPS BOMSHELL, SAYS GOV. AMAECHI SOLD RIVERS STATE ASSETS TO TONYE COLE'S SAHARA ENERGY.....PROCEEDS PUMPED ON BUHARI CAMPAIGN

Tonye Princewill, Rivers state Labour Party Guber candidate has indicted his supposed friend and fellow Rivers State indigene, Tonye Cole and Governor Rotimi Amaechi of involving in a secret shady deals.

Princewill said that the $800 million realised from the sale of Rivers State assests to Sahara Energy was never lodged into the coffers of the state government.  "Money changed hands but the accounts they entered were not necessarily Rivers State government's officially operated account.  "In one instance, approximately $400 million changed hands over an asset that could easily be twice that. Why the secrecy?" he querried.

Princewill added that the sale of the assets, which included Olympia Hotel, Abonemma Wharf, Risonpalm and some power generating stations, was forced on Sahara Energy, as Governor Amaechi had to resort to threats and intimidation to get Sahara to buy. He aslo alleged that the proceeds of the transactions were being used to fund the candidacy of General Muhammadu Buhari and activities of the All Progressives Congress.

"Amaechi is one of the chief financiers of the APC election and a close ally of Buhari," he said.
"Information reaching me is that international media organisations have already been paid in USD (US Dollars) from these transactions to come and cover the 2015 elections in a Tahir Square strategy.

"The aim of the opposition is to gather crowds in a single location and beam pictures around the world creating the impression that the whole country is in chaos." Princewill explained.

Princewill said he decamped to the Labour Party because the party "has an ideology and concept of what government should be doing which is similar to my own," Tonye Princewill told Premium Times in a no-holds-barred interview.
