Chief Edwin Chukwunenye Igbokwe, the former husband to late Lady of songs, Christy Essien-Igbokwe has remarried. According to sources, he completed his traditional wedding on Saturday April 19,2014 and the white wedding held on Monday April 21,2014 in Anambra state.

Insiders disclosed that his children shunned the wedding because they were not happy with the development. It is whispered that his second son Kaka moved out of the house and right now they are not on talking terms because of this.

It was equally disclosed that the new wife have been close friends of Chief Edwin Igbokwe for a while, and she even attended Christy's memorial which the children frowned at.
