BREAK UP: P-SQUARE MAY LOSE 240 MILLION NAIRA GLOBACOM DEAL

Telecommunications giant, Globacom may be forced to review its four-year contract with the pop twins P-Square if there is no truce in their break up saga. A source close to the telecoms operator revealed that Glo may terminate the endorsement deal, which it has with the pop twins since 2010, should they go ahead with the break-up. According to the source, the telecoms giant entered into a contract with P-Square and not with any of the twins.

“Since Glo has a contract with P-Square, and not with Peter or Paul, their breakup will definitely lead to the termination of the contract,” the source explained. Meanwhile, Squareville residence of the pop twins at Lola Holloway Street, Omole Phase 1, Lagos, was deserted when we visited the place, there are cars parked outside the compound.

Concerned fans of P-Square have being attacking Peter Okoye’s wife, Lola, accusing her of being responsible for the alleged breakup of the duo. But Lola has fired back at her accusers, saying “I think silence is the best answer.” But those who should know maintained that Lola couldn't have caused their alleged break up, 'Lola is a brand manager, she helped P-Square attained the height they are today by virtue of managing their brand. It was while working on their brand that she met Peter and they fell in love, so it is wrong to say Lola is responsible for their rift', a close source divulged. P-Square's glo deal is worth 240 million naira.
