THREE MONTHS AFTER: DECOMPOSED BODY OF KIDNAPPED FATHER OF EX SUPER EAGLES STAR FOUND IN THE BUSH

Three months after the decomposed body of 80- year old Chief James Iloenyosi who was kidnapped by gunmen three days before his birthday was finally found in the bush in Anambra State. Pa Iloenyosi was the father of former Super Eagles player and ex husband of star actress Stephanie Idahosa, Chikelue Iloenyosi , who played professional football in France and Turkey.

The state Police Commissioner, Usman Gwary, said four people had been arrested in connection with the abduction of the deceased. The Octogenarian’s family was planning his 80th birthday bash slated for November 28 last year, but the hoodlums stormed his house on November 25 and whisked him away. When the information flew out, the state Police Command deployed over 700 policemen to search all the nooks and crannies of the state in search of the man, all to no avail.

The family was also made to part with 1.5 million naira as ransom to his abductors, an amount they declared insufficient, insisting on 50 million naira. The assailants pocketed the money and refused to release him before he died.
