HIGH SOCIETY’S MOST ENDURING UNION: SOCIAL MATRIARCH, ERELU OJUOLAPE OJORA REVEALS SECRET OF HER 60YEARS MARRIAGE TO HUSBAND OTUNBA ADEKUNLE OJORA

They were married at a very younger age of 25 and 22, he is in now the early 80s and she is in her early 70s, their marriage was the talk of the town then based on their aristocratic background. In a country where marriages of celebrity are packing up like a badly arranged cards theirs waxes on stronger everyday and they are happy to tell their story of close to 60 years in marriage.
Society Matriarch, Erelu Ojuolape Ojora spoke to City People about how she has coped 60 years in her marriage to Otunba Adekunle Ojora...

“We have being married for close to 60years, we got married at a very young age and this is because we love each other dearly. We have our ups and downs but we sort things out before it get out of hand. The secret that has help our marriage is that we both give more than we take, young couple of today should know that just as life is full of ups and downs so also is marriage. There are bound to be issues but each party should not go to bed with grudges...”
“Whatever that is on your mind that is making you unhappy would have flown away when you settle differences at night before going to bed starting afresh and also fixing things right helps alot. Another thing is being peaceful within yourself, respect your in-laws and respect each other, if you do that you can never go wrong”

On why her husband has refused to marry second wife, she has this to say; “he surely look at other women, the point is that he never consider another woman as his wife, there is nothing he is looking for in another woman that i don’t have”.
She however listed some of Otuna’s favourite things which include colour light blue, white, grey, “i pick all his clothes for him as a wife, he likes eba, fresh fish and crabs”.
