NURTW LEADER, MUSILIU AKINSANYA (OLUOMO) SCAMPERS ABROAD. POLICE LABELS HIM WANTED FOR INSTIGATING OSHODI MAYHEM

National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW sectional leader, Musiliu Akinsanya a.k.a. MC Oluomo, is yet to surface from his hideout as Police 24 hours for him to surrender himself to authority for questioning relating to the recent Oshodi fracas expired few days ago.

Oluomo and his rival popularly known as Germany Oshodi it would be recalled were fingered as the arrowheads of the Oshodi mayhem which claimed several lives and many injured. Many principal actors in the incident have been arrested by the Policce while Oluomo and Germany went into hiding. Germany have since surrendered to the Police, but We gathered that Oluomo popular with the tag "Richest Area Boy" have scampered to the UK while he seek for intervention of APC leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Kayode Aderanti, confirmed that the Police has now declared Oluomo wanted since he failed to surrender himself to the police last Friday February 27 2015 which was the given as the deadline. On Monday morning which was the grace period, Oluomo did not also report to the police, top cops however reportedly stormed his house at the weekend but did not find him. Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Lagos Police Command, Ken Nwosu, has also issued a release to that effect. Nwosu said since Oluomo had not reported himself to the police, he might be on the run and that the police would sure get him.

According to Nwosu, “He has not reported. He was given 24 hours to report and he did not report. Technically, he has been declared wanted, but we have not made the pronouncement yet. We still want to perfect the court papers to declare him wanted , we will do that. He has not been seen. If he did not show up, you know what that means,” he said.
