HIGH PROFILE SOCIETY LADY, FUNMI OMITOWOJU GOES INTO HIDING. WANTED BY THE POLICE FOR ALLEGED N28MILLION FRAUD

High profile society lady, Funmi Omitowoju as you read this has scampered into hiding following report she is wanted by the Police for an alleged fraud related offence. The former head of operations, UBA Prestige Bank is reportedly wanted by the police for fraud amounting to N28 million.

According to report from TheCapital, many of her admirers are wondering what could have incited such monstrosity in Funmi that made her throw caution to the wind in pursuit and misappropriation of other people's money. But close friends of the former banking executive argue that it is too early to crucify Funmi as hardly anyone knows if she actually made away with N28 million or if she did as proxy to some criminal mastermind.

However the depth of argument put up in her defense by her friends, more people are still  bewildered why she decided to abscond by abandoning her work and home. Until now, Funmi was a top corporate player, in the Nigeria’s banking sector, she was formerly head of operations, UBA Prestige Bank, a successful career woman whose experience cut across various subsectors of Nigeria’s business sector.

She once worked with MTN as general manager for its south west region and as deputy manager, marketing and corporate affairs; she also worked with AIICO Insurance among other blue chip companies.
