RICHEST AREA BOY, MUSILIU AKINSANYA (OLUOMO) GOES INTO HIDING. WANTED BY THE POLICE AS FACE BEHIND OSHODI FRACAS

The man widely known as Lagos' richest area boy, Musiliu Akinsanya aka Oluomo is still hibernating in a secret hideout as Police issued 24 hours ultimatum for him to report himself to the Nigerian Police for been one of the masterminders of the mayhem that broke out in Oshodi on Tuesday in which at least three persons were killed.

The Lagos State Police Command said it had arraigned 18 suspects out of about 40 arrested. The command also denied that the fracas “is political as widely reported,” noting that it was a clash between two factions of the road transport union at the Mafesojo motor park, Oshodi. The principal characters in the public fight are already in custody, 18 of them have been arraigned and have been slammed in Police custody. More are expected to be arraigned today.

But one of the arrowheads of the mayhem, Musiliu Oluomo is still at large. That's why the police issued the Oshodi NURTW chairman an ultimatum to report to the police command within 24 hours and failure to report, the command said it would declare him wanted.

“If he refuses to surrender himself to any of our security agencies, we are going to declare him wanted. And it is going to be between us and him. He will not have any hiding place in Lagos State."
Between two and three persons died. About eight vehicles were burnt. It is not 30 or 40 as reported.
