THE WOMEN WHO WANT TO BE GOVERNORS

They are the amazon who want to swim in  a male dominated terrain, some have tried it once and failed others are just newcomers. Meet women gladiators who want to be governors.

ADETOKUNBO TOBUN-AGBESANWA
Adetokunbo Agbesanwa
Daughter of late Major Moji Tobun ex wife of former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Adetokunbo is an aide governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos state, she wants her boss' job and she is serious about it. Been the only female governorship aspirant in Lagos she said she is not afraid to go to battle with the men,  'I am not afraid, I have nothing to fear, I am the only one among them all who has no question mark.'

She is also the only female governorship aspirant in her state Imo, Senator Chris Anyanwu, a seasoned journalist, author and publisher is a 2-time senator on the PDP platform where she represents Imo East Senatorial District. 

GBEMI SARAKI

The silent war that have torn the Saraki's household apart is between two siblings Senator Bukola Saraki former governor of Kwara and his younger sister Senator Gbemi Saraki. The latter wants to become governor of the state, she tried it once when their father Dr. Olusola Saraki was alive but she lost to her brother's interest - current governor of Kwara Ahmed Abdulfattah. Now she is back in the ring for 2015 under PDP and aims to get it right. The former senator will still have to battle her brother to realise her ambition since the reins of who controls what is still in the grip of Senator Bukola Saraki.

Senator Aisha Al-Hassan, former Taraba State Attorney-General/Commissioner for Justice is
also aspiring to run for governorship come 2015 under the APC. 

NKECHI NWOGU

Senator Nkechi Nwogu represents Abia Central in the senate, she is also the chairman, senate committee on Banking , Insurance, and, other financial institutions.  In 2003, she was in the house of representatives, she contested and won a seat in the senate and was re-elected in 2011. She is one of the guber aspirants in Abia State who want to take over from Governor T.A Orji.
Ngozi Olojeme
 


NGOZI OLEJEME
She is the only female governorship aspirant in Delta and she has the backing of her people, Ngozi is a philanthropist, entrepreneur, administrator, and, politician. She sits as the chairman of many establishment.
