His Eminence Alhaji Ado Bayero, the immediate past Emir of Kano passed on at the age of 83 years and former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was named the new Emir. However not many people know how ultra-wealthy the late Emir of Kano was in his lifetime. The royal fleet of the highly
revered Emir of Kano oozes class. He has a wide range of vintage cars in his palace such as 4-door Rolls Royce Silver Wraith Convertible,a royal landaus and several others.There are over 15000 horses for his procession. To crown it all,the stylish Emir has HS 125 Private Jet, and a Gulfstream Jet which the Federal Government occasionally make available for him and his entourage when on royal duties.
During cultural events like the Durbar the royal figure rode in his horses driven carriages, there are over 15000 horses in the procession. In his garage are vintage cars whenever he embarked on a road trip his convoy had not less than 10 Limousines, 2 Bentleys, 2 Mercedes Benz, 2 Daimlers, 3 Rolls Royce, 1 Cadillac Fleetwood and a various ranges of SUVs. No doubt the late Emir lived life to the fullest.
